Dragon Ball FighterZ Vegito Blue And Fused Zamasu Release Date Announced

FighterZ Vegito

UPDATED WITH THE TEASER TRAILER:

We’ve all known Dragon Ball FighterZ has been primed for yet another roster power-up, with the likes of Fused Zamasu and the gody blue fusion known as Super Saiyan Blue Vegito being teased over the last few weeks. While the supreme Zamasu was granted a short-but-sweet trailer, the combined character of Goku and Vegeta were shown off through less-than-official means, leaving the DLC fighters’ launch definitively up in the air. The wait is now over as the release date for FighterZ Vegito Blue and Fused Zamasu have now been announced.

Bandai Namco revealed all via Twitter, officially confirming the Super Saiyan Blue form of Vegito as the next fighter in the game’s upcoming round of DLC. Rather than a new piece of footage, the character’s top-tier abilities were shown off through a series of stunning screenshots, which you can view below.

With the formal unveiling of both Fused Zamasu and Vegito Blue out of the way, a release date for the two was soon to follow. A second announcement made through the Bandai Namco UK Twitter account would finally share those awaited release details, with both DLC characters arriving to Dragon Ball FighterZ on May 31st. The news shared even more in-game stills of the two foes duking it out, which are available below.

The release of Vegito Blue and Fused Zamasu is sure to please fans of the ultra-powerful characters. This is especially true as the launch coincides pretty perfectly with the Dragon Ball Super English dub, which recently introduced the unstable fusion of Zamasu and Goku Black, with plans to unleash Vegito Blue in the coming weeks. Dragon Ball FighterZ is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
