Dragon Ball FighterZ Adds Three Super Characters To The Roster

Super Characters To The Roster

With nearly every week revealing an all-new character for Bandai Namco’s upcoming Dragon Ball FighterZ, fan hype is understandably high for the stylish title. Rumors and leaks teasing exciting new combatants have left fans donning their speculation caps in anticipation. Adult Gohan made his presence known last week, but now according to a report from Japanese website Ryokutya, three more Dragon Ball Super characters are headed into battle as well.

The three added individuals in question are Beerus, Goku Black, and Hit, each of them possessing powerful combos and abilities based on their animated counterparts. Beerus is said to utilize his Sphere of Destruction attack, which the deity has used to wipe out entire worlds in the anime. A move such as this may seem like overkill, but it surely fits the tone of high-octane insanity FighterZ is going for.

 Super Characters To The Roster

As for the unhinged imposter Goku Black, his powers mirror the dangerous abilities he displayed during the Future Trunks Saga, including the act of calling in backup from the equally dastardly Zamasu. Hit’s powers are as formidable as someone nicknamed the “Legendary Assassin” could be, making use of teleportation and time-stopping abilities to gain the upper hand in battle.

While these Super characters have not been officially announced, the appearance of Goku Black does line up with a fairly plausible leak that broke not to long ago. The addition of Beerus and Hit are also very likely entries, especially since both fighters featured recently in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. The final lineup will be revealed by the time Dragon Ball FighterZ comes out for PC, PlayStation4, and Xbox One on January 26.
