Dragon Ball FighterZ Adds Fused Zamasu In The Next Round Of DLC

Fused Zamasu

The super-fighting of Dragon Ball FighterZ continues with its upcoming slate of DLC. While nearly all of Bandai Namco’s plans may have been let out of the bag early, the characters we’ve come to expect are still exciting nonetheless. One of the more notable additions is that of Fused Zamasu, an unstably powerful combination of both Goku Black and Zamasu. It now seems we can expect the fighter to appear in the next round of DLC.

According to ShonenGames, the recent released issue of Japanese magazine V-Jump details the fused state of Zamasu as the next character coming to FighterZ, the third overall. We can see a few gameplay stills from the scanned page, including a peek at the Supreme Kai’s extremely godly moveset. Featured is Zamasu’s ability to create a white halo-like barrier, summon a large bird entity made of pure energy, and his devastating Holy Wrath ultimate attack. Check it out below.

Given that Fused Zamasu is made up from Goku Black, the possibility exists that the two may have similar movesets, which makes sense considering the two characters’ close story connection. But as with the various forms of Goku and Vegeta, its likely FighterZ may want to change up their moves just enough to justify the two’s existence, especially as the entire roster generally plays differently.

As for when we can expect the DLC to drop, it’s likely to happen within a few weeks time, especially as Fused Zamasu is about to make his animated debut in the Dragon Ball Super English dub. In the meantime, that should provide plenty of time to introduce the second mystery fighter in the new DLC. However, a recent leak may have already provided that answer. Dragon Ball FighterZ is out now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

What do you think? Are you a fan of Fused Zamasu hitting Dragon Ball FighterZ, or have you only kept up with the English dub and are now thoroughly spoiled about the character?
