Detroit: Become Human Gets New TV Spot, Watch It Here (VIDEO)

Detroit: Become Human

The upcoming title from Quantic Dream certainly looks to be interesting and ambitious. However, with games like Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls in their catalog, nobody was expecting them to take their next project lightly. The case has seemingly been made for Detroit: Become Human with everything we’ve seen so far, and that trend has only been continued by the most recent TV spot.

In the trailer that debuted on television, we get a quick glimpse into the lives of the title’s main characters. With only 30 seconds of footage to offer, we can’t expect a whole lot from the video, but it does its best to intrigue viewers. Check it out for yourself in the video below:

For those not in the know, here’s a bit more about the upcoming title:

“Enter the near-future metropolis of Detroit in 2038 – a city rejuvenated by the introduction of highly advanced androids that exist only to serve mankind. But that’s all about to change…

Step into the shoes of three distinct android characters as this brave new world teeters on the brink of chaos. Your decisions dramatically alter how the game’s intense, branching narrative plays out. With thousands of choices and dozens of endings, how will you affect the future of Detroit?

Enter a world where moral dilemmas and difficult decisions can turn android slaves into world-changing revolutionaries. Discover what it means to be human from the perspective of an outsider – and see the world through the eyes of a machine.

Shape an ambitious branching narrative, where your decisions not only determine the fate of the three main characters, but that of the entire city of Detroit. How you control Kara, Connor and Markus can mean life or death – and if one of them pays the ultimate price, the story still continues…”

Detroit: Become Human is set to arrive on May 25th for the PlayStation 4. If you’d like to see even more of the game, look at what the development team put into the art right here.
