Death Stranding Now In “Critical” Developmental Stage

Death Stranding Critical

The mystery grows deeper regarding Death Stranding. While we still don’t know anything about when the game is set to be released, the team at Kojima Productions sure does enjoy teasing fans with slivers of information through tweets. According to a recent tweet from Hideo Kojima himself, the mysterious title is currently in a “critical” development stage.

Taking to Twitter, Kojima shared an image that gives fans a glimpse at his setup, complete with a Kojima action figure. As for what the director had to say alongside the image, he noted that he is playing the game everyday on PlayStation 4 to ensure everything is in order.

According to the rough translation provided by Microsoft on Twitter:

“DS is not yet in difficulty adjustment or debug stage, but has been assembling pieces of parts that were made on tools and development machines into one game. It is a process to connect the parts, to fix the operation feeling, the production, the specifications, the trouble, and to stripped the flesh and drop while I play the game directly every day in the actual machine of PS4. Critical Phases.”

Of course, this doesn’t gives us any clue as to when Death Stranding will be arriving on PlayStation 4, but we know development is chugging right along. Here’s to hoping we learn even more in the not too distant future.
