Cyberpunk 2077 Multiplayer And More Games Reportedly Planned By CD Projekt Red

Cyberpunk 2077

In addition to the not yet released Cyberpunk 2077, it looks like CD Projekt Red has enormous ambitions for themselves. With a launch date set for April of next year, the studio branches away from their world-renown The Witcher series into a futuristic action role-playing game, there’s already rumors that the team has more in store for fans.

According to a report from Polish news outlet Bankier, it looks like CD Projekt Red is planning on the development of three different projects within the Cyberpunk 2077 universe. In addition to the development of multiplayer, the studio has their sights set on another “really big and innovative project.” Thanks to Twitter user, Nibel, for the heads up:

“Our next big project will also be in the ‘cyberpunk’ universe, and we’re already working on it and treating it as a really big and innovative project for us,” said Nielubowicz. CDPR VP, Piotr Nielubowicz. To add to that, Adam Kicinski said more information on all these fronts will be revealed by the beginning of next year. In terms of the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077, new information will be presented during PAX West later this year.

If this all stands to be true, it looks like an exciting future for the Witcher studio. Everyone could use more CDPR in their lives! What do you think about these rumors?
