Cyberpunk 2077: Hidden Message Discovered In Concept Art

Cyberpunk 2077

The hype surrounding CD Projekt RED’s upcoming adventure set in Night City has recently been given new life. Not that that hype train needed more help or anything, but Gamescom 2018 has arrived, giving a new group of people to experience the secretive demo. However, CDPR has also been kind enough to reveal other Cyberpunk 2077 details.

Among the new Cyberpunk 2077 information to be released are some images containing concept art. We can see a few different stills from the trailer that was shown at this year’s E3, but it would appear that one of the pieces has a hidden message in the background. Before we get into it, let’s take a look at the concept art:

If you look in the background of the image that shows an active Night City, you can see a pink sign that contains a “bit.ly” link. Naturally, the internet is full of gumshoes, and one such person decided to follow the link, which led them to the following image:

The image that was found at the “bit.ly” link clearly is taunting fans, stating there is “more than meets the eye.” Of course, the hard working detectives of the internet weren’t content with that. Going a step further, the digital Jacques Cousteau(s) were able to dig a bit deeper, discovering the following:

But wait, there’s more! The mystery goes even further, as members of the Discord server were going crazy over the discoveries. This led to things going deeper, which brings us to this post on Reddit that pertains to the Trauma Team of Night City.

CD Projekt RED is up to something, which is definitely not out of character when it comes to Cyberpunk 2077. The secrecy surrounding the years long project is beginning to truly emerge, and we are excited to see what comes of all these breadcrumbs. A wild ride awaits, so it’s best that we all buckle up.

Cyberpunk 2077 is set to arrive at some point before the year 2077 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
