Cyberpunk 2077 File Size Revealed

Cyberpunk 2077

There may still be nearly 10 months left until players can finally get their hands on the highly anticipated Cyberpunk 2077, but that isn’t stopping anyone from getting excited. Now that we officially have a release date for the game, we’ve also been learning even more details, including about how large the title will be in terms of its file size.

The PlayStation Store recently updated their listing for Cyberpunk 2077 and among the details provided, we can see the amount of storage needed to install the futuristic RPG. According to the page, the game will need a minimum of 80 GB of space in order to be installed. Of course, this likely isn’t the final number that players can expect to see upon release, but it is probably close.

It is also worth pointing out that with nearly 10 months left until launch, CD Projekt RED still has plenty of work to do on the game, meaning the final file size is subject to change. In addition to this, the 80 GB is only known for PlayStation 4, and can vary across PC and Xbox One, but it might not be much of a difference.

In case you are not aware of what Cyberpunk 2077 will have to offer, here’s more:

“Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure story set in Night City, a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour and body modification. You play as V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality. You can customize your character’s cyberware, skillset and playstyle, and explore a vast city where the choices you make shape the story and the world around you.”

Cyberpunk 2077 is set to arrive on April 16, 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
