Control Alan Wake DLC

Hello, old friend. Alan Wake fans have been hoping to see a new installment in the popular series for quite some time, and while that doesn’t seem exactly likely, there has always been some form of hope. Well, at least since the launch of Remedy Entertainment’s Control. Thankfully, the time is near as the notable character is coming to Control later this month with the AWE expansion.

Since the release of Control, players have been finding references to everybody’s favorite digital thriller novelist, so it was only a matter of time before some content regarding Mr. Wake arrived in-game. That said, AWE is the second expansion being released for the game and will bring new story, side missions, and more to the experience. Check out the teaser trailer for yourself below:

There it is – our first look at Alan Wake in quite some time. For a bit more on Control and the upcoming AWE expansion, here’s the description:

“As Director of the Federal Bureau of Control, Jesse Faden must enter the Investigations Sector and confront the creature lurking within this long-abandoned part of the Bureau. This threat has haunted the sector for years, waiting on the other side of the sealed Firebreak. In order to reclaim the Investigations Sector from its clutches, Jesse will need to explore the numerous Altered World Events investigated here, including one from the town of Bright Falls.”

Control is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, with the AWE expansion arriving on August 27th. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
