Conan O’Brien Sullenly Plays Final Fantasy XV With Elijah Wood (VIDEO)
In the latest installment of the wildly popular Clueless Gamer, we get to see Conan O’Brien and Elijah Wood tackle Final Fantasy XV. Well, they attempt to tackle Final Fantasy XV, but to no avail. Conan struggles to find any real meaning within the realm of Eos, while Wood laughs along and tries to make any sense of what is going on. From pushing a car and camping with with a ridiculous amount of gear to admiring a wedding dress and discovering a boss that takes 72 hours to defeat, Conan and Elijah have absolutely no idea what is going on. The only saving grace for them, it seems, is that they get to ride Chocobos, even if only for just a short time. Sounds like a good balance to me!
Conan spends the vast majority of the video bewildered that this game even exists. He pulls no punches as he continually lays into it, and the fact that people will continue to play it. Whether this is simply for show or not remains to be seen, but one might suspect that it is. After all, it is Conan O’Brien. What may be the funniest point in the video comes at the end, when Conan finds out that the creators of FFXV are sitting outside the room they are in, watching as he and Wood not only play the game, but also insult it. Conan, being the comedian that he is, opens the door to say hello, calmly ask a few questions, and then scream, “WHAT’S THE F@%&!*% PURPOSE?!?!” You need to check it out for yourselves!
