The CW announced last month that a backdoor pilot would be introduced through Supernatural’s 13th season for a new spin-off series called Wayward Sisters. Fans have been pushing for Sheriff Jody Mills, played by Kim Rhodes, to have her own offshoot and their prayers were answered in June. At that time, the only confirmed cast member was Rhodes herself, but hopes of Jody’s adopted daughters and Sheriff Donna making an appearance was on everyone’s mind.

It was finally reported that Claire Novak (Kathryn Newton), Alex Jones (Katherine Ramdeen) and Sheriff Donna (Briana Buckmaster) would officially be a part of the upcoming Wayward Sisters series. This has definitely confirmed what everyone was sure would happen all along, but to know for sure is still a relief. Along with the familiar faces, there will also be a brand new character named Patience Turner, who will be played by Clark Backo.

Patience is apparently the grand-daughter of Missouri Moseley, a character who was in season one of Supernatural. She will be coping with newfound psychic abilities she inherited from her grandmother while running from evil forces that want to use her and her powers. Patience’s grandmother was John Winchester’s friend and helped Dean and Sam back when their childhood home was haunted. Apparently, Missouri will be making an appearance in another upcoming episode of Supernatural, most likely having to do with the backdoor pilot for Wayward Sisters.
