Call of Duty: WWII Open Beta Has Been Invaded by Hackers (VIDEO)

WWII open beta

The recently launched Call of Duty: WWII open beta on PC has already become overrun by hackers and people are mad. A plethora of videos have surfaced seeming to show the cheaters ruining the game, including one that shows the obvious use of an aimbot, seen here. In the Reddit post from JarekBloodDragon containing the video, he says:

“It’s becoming more and more difficult to find a game in the WW2 open beta without there being an incredibly obvious hacker not trying to hide it. At one point I got 5 games in a row with these types of hackers, all different lobbies, all different hackers.”

Reddit users immediately began responding to the thread and relaying their experiences with the hackers in the Call of Duty: WWII open beta. One user by the name of spikus93 said it’s happening as often as “one in three games” and that it’s obvious they’re cheating, “because they have like 30-40 headshot kills even in death match.” Reddit isn’t the only place to find angry fans though, there’s also a thread on Steam where this video below was posted showing yet another aimbot.

This is most definitely not a surprise and something to be expected out of an online multiplayer game, but it is also important that the developers take the information of what is happening in the WWII open beta, and use it to improve the punishment system before the full release. Have you had any issues with hackers in the beta? What do you think would be a good way to punish these cheaters?
