Archer Dreamland Season 8 Trailer Reveals a Noir Twist (VIDEO)
With the close-out of last season’s Archer, fans were left wondering what exactly they had just witnessed. A noir-based twist on the show that’s taken fan’s hearts by storm over the past 7 seasons? Why the sudden change in genre for this wacky spy comedy? Well, as it turns out, that weird little twist we saw at the end of season 7 was actually a teaser for what was to come. Yes, indeed, Archer Dreamland is throwing back to old school spy-hood in a 40’s inspired noir setting, and it looks like it’s going to be one hell of season to come!
From the look of the trailer and from what we know of the end of last season, it seems that Dreamland is set entirely in Sterling’s dreams as he floats in the pool after his attack. Dead, or dying, we’re not sure yet, but perhaps we’ll get some answers as season 8 progresses. What we do know is that throughout the season, Archer Dreamland will be focusing on Sterling’s quest to find the man who murdered his partner, whom we know as Woodhouse (since the voice actor, George Coe, died in 2015).
