The day has finally arrived for Mortal Kombat fans, as NetherRealm Studios has provided plenty to be excited about. During a live event being held in Los Angeles, and streamed across Twitch, the devs officially revealed Mortal Kombat 11, which was announced during The Game Awards last month.

Before the event truly kicked off, the devs showed off the first gameplay trailer for Mortal Kombat 11. With more bloodshed and crushing of bones than ever, the footage shown was beautiful and gruesome all the same. Needless to say, fans will be getting all of the glorious fighting they can handle in the upcoming title.

During the presentation, it was noted that some characters will be returning to the fight, while a few new combatants will also be joining them. Most notably, Baraka is making his return in Mortal Kombat 11, which fans will surely be pleased to see. Plus, the franchise is certainly looking better than ever, with all of the fatalities and glorious battle for players to enjoy.
