Lara Croft GO Possibly Coming to PS4 and VITA Soon
It appears that another mobile game is getting the PlayStation treatment very soon. Recently, Twitter user Wario64 spotted the inclusion of Lara Croft GO trophies online, and immediately took to the social media platform to announce his findings to the world. With this discovery, we can only conclude that in the near future, Lara Croft GO will indeed be included as one of the titles that will make the leap from Mobile to Console for gamer consumption.

Last year, Hitman GO made the jump and crossed over to the PlayStation store for purchase, giving gamers an opportunity to play this game without the annoyance of their thumbs getting in the way of the beautiful artwork and immersive puzzles included. The Hitman GO conversion was also announced at the PlayStation Experience last year, so if the pattern is to be followed, Lara Croft GO should be getting the same sort of treatment this month. We don’t have long to wait to see if the official announcement of its release to the PlayStation store will happen, but if the reveal of the game’s trophies is anything to go by, it’s only a few more days wait to confirm our suspicions.
With today’s Game Awards getting ready to begin in just a few hours, word had gotten out that Nintendo’s Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild would have more content revealed to the fans during the ceremony. Who knows? Maybe we’ll get a sneak-peek at this mobile-to-console update on Lara Croft then. If anything, December is looking like it’s becoming a big month for updates and announcements, so even if we don’t hear word about this Tomb Raider title during the Game Awards, we only have a week to wait and see if we’ll get a repeat experience of last year’s PSX announcement.
So what are you thoughts on this latest bit of gaming news? Do you think we’ll be seeing a console copy of Lara Croft GO anytime soon? Give us your thoughts in the comments below, and game on!
