Pokemon GO Reveals New Unown Spawn Location
After introducing the latest update to Pokemon GO with the addition of “field and special research” tasks, the developer has even more exciting news in store for serious trainers. Though the hunt for the illusive psychic-type Mew is still hot, there’s no slow-down of events! Last seen spotted in Austin, Texas, the next spawn location for Unown was teased by the official Apple app store, revealed with a “hidden” message. See below:

Figured it out yet? It’s not too difficult if the hidden message is read in a zig-zag motion that spells out L-O-N-D-O-N (aka London, England). It certainly helps that these Pokemon resemble the Roman/Latin alphabet. Fortunately for people looking to catch ’em all, the Unown aren’t spawning exclusively in London. They’re likely appearing during events like PAX East, which is currently taking place this weekend.
There are no confirmation dates or an official statement from the Apple app store or Niantic. Other Pokemon trainers in the thread reveal that the event has already begun. Talk about a cryptic reveal! In other related news, Pokemon Go continues its hunt for Mew with Professor Willow. There’s also the regional Latios and Latias appearances and a separate global event called Mission Blue to celebrate Earth Day! How cool is that?
