Super Smash Bros Confirmed For Nintendo Switch (VIDEO)
Super Smash Bros confirmed for the Nintendo Switch is probably the biggest news yet to grace today’s Nintendo Direct announcements. Alongside the latest information for titles on the 3DS and Switch, several other games from recent and far past make their reprise on the hybrid console in big ways. Check out the epic trailer introducing this brawler to modern graphics below:
The first half of the video sees two Inkling duking it out in blue and orange ink in high-speed chase until a ball of flame appears out of nowhere. Behind the two lurks a battle yet to begin, showcasing the Super Smash Bros logo in all its flaming glory. Amidst the epic logo are the dark outlines of original characters seen in the original Super Smash Bros game. Whether you find that kind of imagery tacky or not, there’s no denying that this was an epic teaser to shed some light on a treasured classic and beloved fighting game.
This may not come as a surprise for those keeping up on all news related to Nintendo. In fact, there was a leak from industry professional by the name of Emily Rogers not long ago. She brought speculative knowledge on its release for the Switch. However, since it had yet to be confirmed, it remained a rumor. That is until now!
Super Smash Bros is expected to launch for the Nintendo Switch in 2018, but a release date has not been confirmed. Stay tuned with DFTG as soon as the word gets out!
