New God Of War Statue Immortalizes Kratos And Son In Godlike Detail
Kratos’ days of initiating in sex mini-games may be over, but there seems to be much to appreciate about the Ghost of Sparta’s forthcoming adventure. The simply-titled God of War sees Kratos start his life over as a loving father, but his world doesn’t stay quaint for long as he’s compelled into battle once more to slay the gods and monsters of Norse mythology. Sideshow Collectibles has introduced an all-new God Of War statue to celebrate the upcoming title, featuring Kratos and his son Atreus in stunning detail.
According to the official Sideshow website, the polystone collectible stands at a 15″ tall, and touts an accurate 1:6 scale representation of the battle-ready duo. The God of War statue was also designed by the game’s developers Santa Monica Studio, providing an added layer of detailed authenticity. Check out the official images below.
The high-end item by Sideshow Collectibles will cost around $349 USD, and is expected to be available for shipping between March and May of 2018. Pre-orders are available now, but if the price seems a little too steep, the merch-maker offers a flexible payment plan for those eager to get some Kratos swag on a budget. Those interested should likely decide quickly, as the God of War statue is a limited-quantity collectible with only 750 pieces in total.
