Rare Bloodborne Enemy Discovered Two Years After Launch (VIDEO)
There are some games that give up the full breadth of their secrets mere days after they are released into the wild. Others, however, take years and enormous amounts of dedication before their secrets are uncovered. That is exactly what one Bloodborne player had to put into the game in order to discover an only once-before seen rare Bloodborne enemy, who made his first appearance at the 2014 PlayStation Experience footage of the then-upcoming Souls-Like. Check out the 2014 PlayStation Experience footage below, which then transitions into the new discovery of the rare Bloodborne enemy.
As seen above, the enemy in question is an undead giant with a bunch of, well, candles on his back. There are a few different variations of the candle-back enemies, though exactly how many are unknown. One of the enemies in the footage is using blade-like hands, one of which is on fire. The other apparently has a cannon for an arm, so if you think you are far enough away to avoid taking damage, you’re probably wrong. When these enemies initially made their debut a few years back, it was part of the first available footage of Bloodborne’s Chalice Dungeons, which are procedurally generated dungeons that are entirely option when playing through the game. When the player rediscovered our candle carrying friend, it was during a Depth 4 Cursed and Defiled Root Chalice Dungeon, used with the glyph “pa6ssc6u”. Bloodborne is now available for PlayStation 4.
