New Samus Limited Edition Nintendo 3DS XL Announced – We Have A Mighty Need!
Samas Aran’s time to shine is now! Nintendo announced that she would be getting her very own limited edition Nintendo 3DS XL to celebrate when the game Metroid: Samus Returns launches. The newest (and beautiful) piece of hardware will be available in limited quantity on September 15th.
The unit itself will cost the standard amount: $199.99, which means that it will not also include the game. But the simplistic design and vibrant colours makes this limited edition handheld extremely desirable, especially for die-hard Metroid fans.
This handheld goes perfectly with the newly announced Metroid amiibo figures, also set to release next month. The Amiibos have already been confirmed to add an all new layer of immersion to Metroid: Samus Returns and they’re not bad to look at either.

Metroid: Samus Returns will be available the same day as this limited edition 3DS XL, but only for handhelds. Both will be launching September 15th of this year from the team over at Nintendo and Mercury Steam. What do you think about the new Samus limited edition 3DS XL? Do you like the design?
