Marvel’s Inhumans Release Date Announced, New Poster Unveiled
It feels as if it has been a long time coming, but the day has finally arrived – the Inhumans release date has been announced. It has been known since last year that Marvel’s upcoming television series would see its premiere on the big screen in IMAX theaters, but it has been unknown as to when it would be introduced on the smaller magic picture boxes. Well, with the unveiling of a new poster, that mystery has been solved.
As spotted by Yahoo TV, the new poster shows Maximus the Mad(Iwan Rheon), Black Bolt(Anson Mount), and Medusa(Serinda Swan). They are seen within a more tame version of Black Bolt’s insignia that has been a part of the character’s costume since 1965. Also seen on the poster are the IMAX premiere date, which is set for September 1, as well as the Inhumans release date for ABC: September 29. Check it out for yourself below:
The upcoming series from Marvel will be a new entry into their long line of projects on both the small and big screens. Two weeks prior to the Inhumans release date for IMAX theaters, The Defenders will be launching on Netflix on August 18. That will see Daredevil, Iron Fist, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage come together to fight what evil encroaches on their beloved city. Inhumans…. maybe not so much. Needless to say, Iwan’s portrayal of Maximus might be a little more Ramsay Bolton than some may like, but at least we know the character is in good hands. We’ll just have to wait until this fall to see if that holds any truth.
