With the kick off of this year’s E3 festivities, EA has taken the stage to start fans off with their press conference with a livestream for those who were unable to make it to the event in person. Another company that will be livestreaming their own press conference during this gaming event is Microsoft, with theirs premiering on Sunday, June 11th at 2pm PT/5pm EST. One of the biggest pieces of news that is expected to come out of Microsoft’s press conference is the official Project Scorpio reveal that fans have been waiting for.
Project Scorpio has been a major curiosity for gamers, as the code name the company has been using for the console certainly doesn’t hint at exactly what Xbox has in store for fans. It will certainly be a driving point for gamers everywhere to check out the news, even for those who couldn’t travel to California. The Project Scorpio unveiling is expected to officially reveal console details. The company should also be revealing a price point and a hard release date, as well as the specs and gameplay footage to give us a look at just how powerful the new 4K console will be. The Mixer app on Xbox One will also be livestreaming the event in 4K for those who wish to watch it on their console, and additional livestreaming sources will be played on Xbox’s YouTube and on Xbox.com.
