Story Trailer and Release Date Arrive Ahead of E3 for Kingdom Come Deliverance (VIDEO)

Kingdom Come Deliverance

Daniel Vara’s new studio is creating something that is ramping up to be truly epic. The Mafia creator’s new venture is producing a medieval role-playing game that is looking to provide an impressive story. The trailer for Kingdom Come Deliverance, which can be seen below, paints a picture that has all the makings of a masterpiece. Check it out:

The story of Kingdom Come Deliverance follows that of Henry, the son of a blacksmith. When his village is burned to the ground by mercenaries, he does what anyone would do – he goes after those who have wronged him. But his story is much more personal than simply the loss of his village. With the loss of someone close to him and the theft of a prized sword forged by his father, Henry seeks justice and revenge in this non-fantasy medieval game. Kingdom Come Deliverance gives players a chance to step into the past in an open world game that could rival the best RPGs of its kind.

Kingdom Come Deliverance was funded on Kickstarter with support in publishing from Deep Silver, the studio responsible for Saints Row and Dead Island. Vara’s Warhorse Studios is promising stunning graphics, challenging combat, a story that is non-linear, and even characters of historical significance from the time period. With the exclusion of a fantasy element, the game may even be more immersive as players imagine the scenarios as something that may have happened.

Warhorse Studios’ Kingdom Come Deliverance also got a release date with the video. The game will launch on February 13th, 2018 for PS4, PC, and Xbox One. Interested parties can expect to drop $60 on the game, and from the looks of things, it would be well worth it.
