PS4 Pro Totally Resurrects the 80’s in New Ad (VIDEO)
In a new advertisement released by PlayStation UK, we are introduced to the “Super-Charged PlayStation 4 Pro Console System”. Complete with a “super compact mega processor”, and “revolutionary cord-free player paddle joysticks”, the PS4 Pro has “super fresh graphics”, exclaims the 80’s-inspired ad.

Let’s just talk about the first thing we see in the video. That PlayStation start-up screen, though. Love it! They have pulled out all of the stops with the use of star-wipe transitions, a narrator that’s in your face, and zombies. Some have been less than thrilled about the PS4 Pro, but this ad aims to break those people down with its 80’s charm by summoning the power of a pair of vibrant red Chucks, a mullet, and a song vaguely similar to Van Halen’s “Jump”.
The PS4 Pro will be available November 10 for $399. While it is not a fully upgraded console from the PS4, the Pro does have its added benefits of higher frame rates, higher resolutions, a 1TB hard drive, and better VR capabilities. Only time will tell if it can launch itself ahead of the rest.
What say you, gamers? Anybody plan on upgrading to the PS4 Pro, or is it not worth it? Speaking of improvements, have you seen this about Titanfall 2’s free DLC and no season pass? Let us know in the comments!
