New Trailer Shows Off Limited-Time Final Fantasy XV Carnival Event (VIDEO)

Final Fantasy 15 Carnival Event

Final Fantasy is one of the most beloved RPG franchises in video game history, and their latest installment, Final Fantasy XV, is a huge hit. There are plenty of things to love about it; the bosses, the smooth combat, the beautiful graphics, and the glorious chocobos. People have been looking forward to seeing what special events take place in the game, and the Final Fantasy XV carnival event has now had a trailer released for our viewing pleasure.

The trailer below, which was posted to the game’s YouTube channel, shows off a lot of the new additions, including the highly anticipated Chocobo Racing, fishing, and the wonderfully traditional carnival game, a shooting gallery. Unfortunately, Square Enix hasn’t announced how long the event will run for, but we hope we’ll have enough time to win the giant stuffed bear. You know, if there is one. If not, that’s totally cool. Check out the trailer for yourself:

The Moogle Chocobo Carnival launches as part of a recently revealed update to the game, available on both PS4 and Xbox One. It will be kicking off in North America on January 23 at 5PM Pacific Time. To access the carnival, you’ll need the Carnival Passport item, which is free with the Holiday Pack DLC. In order to receive the item, you can download the free or paid version of the Holiday Pack.

Also, if you happen to be a season pass holder, you will receive extra bonus items. No word on what these items may be, but the event will introduce many new things, including outfits for Noctis, side quests, new food, and a newly decorated Altissia. After spending some time at the carnival, we’re sure you’ll have the same look of wonder as Noctis.
