Simmers Not Happy With The Sims 4 Star Wars: Journey To Batuu Game Pack
The Sims 4 released a trailer two days ago for Gamescom that highlighted it’s latest Star Wars inspired game pack (you can check that out here), and Simmers are not exactly impressed. In fact, as of this moment the amount of dislikes on the video through YouTube does more than double the amount of likes. There are 78k dislikes with the top comment on the video having a massive 1.4k likes and is by a user names eva eva who stated:
“we’re missing out on, actually good darker skin tones, better gameplay, babies that aren’t just OBJECTS, DLCs that aren’t SPLIT UP to give ea the most money, better generations, maybe young teens for example (the teens look like young adults) and more stuff for them to do, hundreds and hundreds more things instead of star wars, eco living, and the let downs in the other packs.”
(comments were edited for clarity)
There have even been some users who have created a copy/paste passage that is commented many times over that campaigns against the purchase of the new game pack and dictates that what is needed in the game is race equality, better gameplay, etc.
Fans of The Sims franchise also took to Twitter to air out their grievances with the latest edition to The Sims 4 universe.

Even those whom are fans of both The Sims 4 and Star Wars aren’t exactly thrilled with the game pack and believe that the idea is fueled by greed than an actual desire to adhere to the feedback of the games player base.
I just lost all respect for The Sims 4. That star wars pack show how disconnected and money hungry this franchise has become. I love star wars, but this just aint what the game needs nor what the community has been asking for years now.
