A Look at the Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Graphics Comparison – Wii U vs Switch (VIDEO)

Zelda: Breath of the Wild is possibly one of the most anticipated games of the year, especially with the announcement of the Masters Edition. The Nintendo Switch has also been highly anticipated, being a magnificent looking (and sounding) piece of equipment that will be a must have for many gamers around the world. These are two highly desired things releasing this year, and people can hardly wait. However, there’s something that has some people concerned, and it really shouldn’t in this day and age. When a game releases on multiple platforms, it’s not unheard of for one to look “better” than the other – this really comes down to which machine can run it better, and that’s no different with the graphics comparison for the Wii U vs Switch. Take a look for yourselves:

People have their concerns that it will look better on the Switch than it will on the Wii U. When you compare the two, it’s quite clear that the Switch has much more detail, more vibrant colours, and just seems generally smoother. It’s a much more aesthetically pleasing vision compared to that of the Wii U. Not everyone will agree, of course. Some will think the Wii U looks better, and some won’t. At the end of the day, we will all still get the same amazing story.

As it sits right now, Zelda: Breath of the Wild looks better on the Switch than on the Wii U. Of course, there is always a chance for that to change before release – last minute tweaks and final stages of optimization could always alter anything in a game, especially one as big as this. People want this game to look good, given the open-world nature and the fact that Zelda is one of the most beloved gaming franchises in existence.
