Overwatch: New Zenyatta Skin Involves A Lot Of Tentacles
For anyone that follows the Overwatch League, you may know a thing or two about Seong-Hyun “Jjonak” Bang, the 2018 MVP support from the New York Excelsior. In celebration of this, Blizzard called him up to get his thoughts on something – his personal interests. The reason this took place was due to the devs creating a Zenyatta skin based on Jjonak that incorporate those interests.
This includes octopi, the color pink, and more. What the Overwatch team was able to create is the 2018 Overwatch League MVP Jjonak Zen-Nakji Legendary skin that all players will soon be able to grab for themselves. As can be seen in the photo below of the concept art, there are a whole lot of tentacles involved, a call to Jjonak’s love for the octopus. Even the orbs themselves are octopi, and honestly, the skin as a whole is fantastic.
“After I saw the skin, I felt that I wanted to be this season’s MVP again,” Jjonak said. “I guess it’s greedy to want two skins for both last season and this season, but I still want to be MVP again.” He then went on to say how he will continue to talk about the fact that he has an Overwatch skin based on him for years to come. “I think this is something I’m going to talk about with pride for my entire life,” he said. “I think it’s an honor, and I’m going to be grateful for the rest of my life.”
Overwatch is currently available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The Jjonak skin will be available from June 27th until July 14th and it will run players a total of 200 tokens.
