We’re only a couple months away from this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo, which will provide gamers across the globe a glimpse into the gaming world and what’s next for it. With a bounty of developers set to bring their best of the best, it’s anyone’s guess as to what fans will see at the event. Microsoft will be in attendance, and they’ve recently revealed more Xbox FanFest details to get everyone excited.

The latest Inside Xbox episode brought a host of information that pleased gamers, including more Xbox FanFest details. Fans “can win a chance to be one of the 400 lucky people to experience Xbox FanFest from June 10 through June 11, or win one of 1,000 brand-new Xbox Briefing-Only Fan Tickets! All winners will be able to enjoy the Xbox E3 Briefing in-person on Sunday, June 10 at 1:00 PM PST.”

In regards to the ticketing process itself, it will be handled via an “online random drawing.” This is because of the incredibly high demand for tickets, and it’s to make things a bit fairer for everyone. The post states:

Fans who have an Xbox Live gamertag and are over the age of 21 will be able to submit their names for either ticket on our submission website. The submission website – coming soon – will stay open for several days before we choose winners. The winners of the FanFest tickets will be chosen first, and the drawing of Briefing-Only Fan Tickets will follow soon after.”

Pricing is also being changed this time around. The Briefing-Only Fan Tickets will be free of charge, but each FanFest ticket will now be $45. Those who are selected to purchase them in the drawing will be limited to two tickets, and while the price may seem a bit high, Microsoft is committed to ensuring “there is a FanFest-sized benefit.” They also expanded on the matter, saying that those purchasing a ticket will be paying it forward.

All money raised from the sale of FanFest tickets will benefit a charity that we will announce in the near future. Further, we’ll have a special moment at E3 where FanFest attendees will get to see first-hand how their money will turn into something amazing for others.”

As for what attendees will be receiving, the Xbox FanFest details include the first of two gifts. Previous events have provided a sweet backpack that was filled with glorious gaming loot. As was revealed in the latest Inside Xbox installment, a custom FanFest jersey, a Seagate 2TB Game Drive for Xbox, Sea of Thieves Special Edition, exclusive Sea of Thieves in-game content, and a 1-month Xbox Game Pass will be some of the goodies being given away. Microsoft is sure to note that this is “only the beginning.”

E3 2018 will take play June 12- 14, with the Xbox FanFest being held from June 10th through the 11th. To learn more about the upcoming Xbox event, check out the post right here.
