Warriors Orochi 4 Confirmed For A United States Release (VIDEO)

It’s officially happening! Though we’ve known that Warriors Orochi 4 was officially slated for a Japan release, western fans weren’t too sure if they would be included in the next step of the Orochi franchise. Looks like we won’t be left in the dust after all, because Koei Tecmo’s America division just announced that the latest title will be making its way overseas as well!

This series definitely has some fan love behind it, and it’s not hard to see why. Though we don’t have an exact release date yet, or even platform availability, that didn’t stop eager players from hopping onboard the hype train:

The Warriors Orochi series is one that brings the best of several Koei Tecmo franchises together under one roof. Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors fans have experienced the incredible battle against the Serpent King Orochi in the past, and the journey is far from over! With Dynasty Warriors 9 having recently launched, it will be interesting to see the route the team decides to take with the Warriors Orochi legend.

Though we’re huge suckers for a solid open-world game, it didn’t quite work out well with Dynasty Warriors 9. Looking at that chaotic mess that was glorious in concept but terrible in execution, we’re hoping that they stick to a more familiar play style with this franchise.

We know for certain this game will be coming out on PlayStation 4, but nothing outside of that has been revealed. It wouldn’t be unheard of to see it on PC and Xbox One as well, and Attack on Titan 2 released on the Switch – so that isn’t off the table either. Hopefully we’ll learn more information soon … until then, hype!
