Two NFL Players Will be Featured in Call of Duty: WWII

Two NFL Players in CoD:WWII

The time until Call of Duty: WWII brings the franchise back to its roots dwindles with each passing day. Set to release on November 3 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, Activision’s next entry into the series, if the name doesn’t give it away, will be set in the second World War. This, of course, means Nazi zombies will also be making their return. On the other hand, this means fans are in store for another round of celebrity cameos. It was recently revealed that two NFL players have made the cut and will be featured in the game.

Le’Veon Bell and Alejandro Villanueva of the Pittsburgh Steelers will both appear in Call of Duty: WWII as soldiers. This was revealed when Bell took to Twitter to show off the players’ in-game characters. He also said that it is “an honor to be a part of my favorite game.” Check out the post below:

Some of you may already know that Villanueva played his college football at West Point, also known as the United States Military Academy. Before signing with the Steelers in 2014, he served three tours of duty in Afghanistan as an Army Ranger. During his service, he even earned a Bronze Star Medal for Valor for saving his wounded soldiers on the battleground while under enemy fire.

The Call of Duty franchise is no stranger to bringing in big names to a part of their games. Fellow NFL player Marshawn Lynch was brought in for Call of Duty: Black Ops III, which also featured Christopher Meloni as Commander John Taylor. There’s no telling what other celebrities will appear in the franchise, but stay tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers to find out. For other gaming news, check out the following:
