Creative Assembly has released a new Tomb Kings  video featuring many of the new mechanics arriving in the upcoming Rise of the Tomb Kings DLC. The latest addition to the Total War: Warhammer II content pool brings new ways to play that make more sense in rallying an army of the undead. The video itself features some stunning cinematics and interesting tactics.

As seen in the Tomb Kings video below, a head-to-head battle ensues between Settra the Imperishable and Arkham the Black. These two undead kings each have their own units and play style that makes for interesting encounters.  Take a look at the highlights video below to see the new features for yourself:

Recruitment style has changed, with a weaker economy players rely on the Mortuary Cult to trade with in order to get new units and magical items. The campaign objective, the Books of Nagash, also provide players with new and useful buffs and units that can easily tip the scales.

Fans will get a chance to play undead armies featured in the Tomb Kings video on January 23rd. In other Total War news, a new game called Total War: Three Kingdoms was recently announced with a stunning video that is promising some more historical and interesting war games on the horizon; this time set in ancient China. Total War: Warhammer II is a PC exclusive and the new DLC Rise of the Tomb Kings can be found on Steam.
