The Ascent Is A Cyberpunk Action RPG Set To Release This July (VIDEO)
Action RPGs are quite popular in the gaming industry, offering players the ability to run around, take down baddies, collect all of the loot, and so much more. The Ascent is looking to capitalize on this, setting players out in a beautiful cyberpunk world and having them shoot and loot as they please in a new adventure that is coming out this summer.
Neon Giant and Curve Digital have officially announced when The Ascent will be coming to PC and Xbox consoles, and the release is not too far away. July 29th is when the upcoming game will be arriving for all players to enjoy, and it is shaping up to be quite the treat if you’ve enjoyed action RPGs and looter-shooters in the past. Check out the trailer below to get an idea of what to expect in just a couple of months:
The Ascent can be played solo or with up to three friends locally or online, and for a bit on what the game is all about, here is a short description:
“Welcome to The Ascent Group arcology, a corporate-run metropolis stretching high into the sky and filled with creatures from all over the galaxy. You play as a worker, enslaved by the company that owns you and everyone else in your district. One day, you are suddenly caught in a vortex of catastrophic events: The Ascent Group shuts down for unknown reasons and the survival of your district is threatened. You must take up arms and embark on a new mission to find out what started it all.”
The Ascent is set to officially arrive on July 29th for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. It will also be available on Xbox Game Pass on day one. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
