Last week, Ubisoft released a teaser on the next season of Rainbow Six Siege and the latest defender to join the roster, Thunderbird. Dubbed North Star, the next season delivers a number of new changes and reworks, including a revamp of the Favela map, gadget tweaks, and quality of life improvements for everyone.

If you’re in need of heals, Thunderbird’s Kona station will heal anyone in need of aid. Bear in mind that there is a cooldown between each charge. Her loadout includes a Spear .308 assault rifle with NATO sights or the SPAS 15 shotgun as her primary, and a choice of sidearms between a Q929 pistol or a Bearing 9. Mina “Thunderbird” Sky grew up in the Nakoda territories of North America. According to a letter from Nomad, she is “quite the trifecta” with the ability to command an aircraft, heal, and watch your back.

“Thunderbird is nothing if not resourceful,” Nomad wrote. “I’ve seen her splint a broken bone with two sticks and a shoelace. But in our line of work we don’t always have time to tie shoelaces, let alone search for sticks. Her healing tech has come a long way since I first saw it. What impresses me most is the distribution method. She can’t be everywhere at once so I’m grateful to have another medic on the field, we can use as many friends as we can get. Sometimes a comforting presence while you heal is just as important as keeping you alive, luckily, she excels at both.”
