Latest Nintendo Direct Delivers New Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon Details (VIDEO)

Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon

The latest Nintendo Direct has arrived, and with it comes a plethora of news from the company. The first things to arrive are the newest details on the upcoming Pokemon Ultra Sun and Pokemon Ultra Moon for the 3DS. Released in four different parts, the news shows what players can expect in the forthcoming titles.

The first part, dubbed “The Key to the Story – Necrozma”, shows what has become of the legendary Pokemon that steals light. It would appear that the bundle of joy has transformed into two different Pokemon: Dusk Mane Necrozma and Dawn Wings Necrozma. These two look to be doing battle in the upcoming titles. “A brand new showdown awaits,” claims the announcer.

Part 2, “Charting New Areas of Alola”, gives players a look at some maps that will be available in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. A surfer filled beach and a valley of Pikachus are both highlighted in the video. Also shown are some sweet outfits that players will be able to use. New clothing items and “surprises” will be up for grabs, so be sure to keep an eye out for some good stuff. They even show how you encounter your first partner Pokemon will be different.

“Bonuses” are shown in the third update. Purchasing either game early will net you some sweet loot. And by loot, we mean special Pokemon. The video highlights the Dusk Form Lycanroc that will evolve from the Rockruff that early birds will receive. To get this along with 12 quick balls, you must pick up the game before January 10. Also shown in the third update are the Pokemon Gold and Silver versions, which will be available beginning September 22 on the Nintendo 3DS virtual console. They are available to pre-order after the Direct. Purchasing either one will get Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon players the mythical Celebi.

The fourth and final update for Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon involves….wait for it….NEW POKEMON! UB Burst and UB Assembly will be arriving in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, respectively. Each game will be arriving on November 17 for the Nintendo 3DS. Check out everything in the video below:
