New Valheim Update Makes Changes To Trolls, Multiple Bosses

It looks like Valheim is getting a new update soon that will be making some graphical changes to some of the survival game’s roster of enemies. Developer Iron Gate Studio has outlined some of what to expect from the survival game’s next patch, which will include graphical updates to trolls and a few of the game’s bosses.

Valheim developer Iron Gate Studio took to the Steam forums to outline what to expect from the game’s next patch. After lamenting the loneliness of the dev team due to having to work remotely from home, it’s revealed that a few substantial graphical updates are being made to the troll, the second boss, and the third boss. They refuse to spoil what the bosses will end up looking like following the update, though they did provide a lovely image of the new troll:

As for what’s been changed about our lovely troll, the post goes on to state that it has “more hair, nails and more defined muscles,” which may also help explain some of the changes being made to the second and third bosses. As for the highly anticipated Hearth and Home update, the developer’s statement includes reassurance that development on it is right on schedule. “The Hearth and Home development is moving forward, and we are working on new mechanics and new items that we can’t wait to show off,” the post reads. “Below are two little sneak peeks of what we’re currently working on for Hearth and Home:”

According to Iron Gate Studio, the above picture will “be a pretty big part of the update, with many new items relating to it.” Valheim is currently available for PC through Steam.
