New The Outer Worlds Trailer Revealed At E3 2019 (VIDEO)
Gamers know that Obsidian Entertainment is made up of the most creative minds in RPG gaming history, now it seems like they’re ready to add another brilliant title to their pedigree. Creators of Fallout, Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky, have been hard at work on a new, ambitious narrative-driven game The Outer Worlds. And we finally have a good long look at gameplay from this trailer revealed during Microsoft’s Xbox E3 2019 Briefing:
Fans of Fallout: New Vegas will immediately recognize the kind of game we’ll be diving into. Players will take control of politicking among various factions in an open world environment. You’ll have opportunities to make moral choices over the course of your travels involving various NPCs.
The trailer shows the player aiding a wounded soldier. and in another scene stabbing that same wounded soldier. We also get a glimpse at various firearms like some space-cowboy looking magnums, rifles, and even shrink rays! It seems that Obsidian will be injecting some of that trademark sense of humor that made players fall in love with the tone from Fallout: New Vegas.
It’s unknown whether or not there will be other gameplay elements coming over, like V.A.T.S and player houses, but we’ll have plenty of time to find out! The Outer Worlds will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 25, 2019. Pre-orders available now.
