New Evil Dead Game Coming Soon, Bruce Campbell Confirms

New Evil Dead Game Bruce Campbell

It’s been some time since Ash vs. Evil Dead was taken away from fans, which has left many wondering when the next project would arrive, if anything was in the works. Ash Williams found his way into popular asymmetrical horror game Dead by Daylight earlier this year, with Bruce Campbell himself providing the voice. That said, according to the actor, a new “fully immersive” Evil Dead game is on the way.

Campbell recently spoke with TV Insider to discuss the Ripley’s Believe It or Not reboot, but there’s no way he was making it out of there without being questioned about his role as Ash in the Evil Dead series. “We’ll see more Evil Dead, that’s for sure,” he said. “There is an Evil Dead video game out. A fully immersive video game probably within a year. I’m not sure about the day. There will be variations of that. There won’t be the original Ash anymore. That guy is done.”

For those who may not know, the firt Evil Dead video game arrived in 1984 for the Commodore 64. There have been a few official titles in the series to release since then, but with today’s technology, one can only imagine what a “fully immersive” Evil Dead title will be like. One can only hope this is the survival horror game many have been wishing for.
