MLB The Show 21 Coming To Xbox Game Pass On Day One (VIDEO)
Fans were shocked when it was revealed that a PlayStation-exclusive series was going to be coming to Xbox consoles for this year’s installment. MLB The Show 21 is set to drop later this month, but Microsoft has sweetened the deal for those looking to enjoy the title on the Xbox side of things as it is officially coming to Game Pass.
That’s right, MLB The Show 21, which is developed by San Diego Studio and published by parent company Sony Interactive Entertainment, is coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one. Seeing the Xbox logo transform into the PlayStation Studios is certainly interesting, but it’s something I’m sure many gamers could get used to. After all, when big companies in the industry work together, it is usually all of us who does the winning.
“As we said from the beginning, this is an incredible moment for all of us and bringing the franchise to more players and baseball fans is something that we at MLB, MLB Players, Inc., and Xbox are all excited about,” MLB Senior Vice President of Games and VR Jamie Leece said in a post on the Xbox Wire. “We can’t wait for Xbox fans to experience the fastest, deepest, and most intense moment-to-moment baseball action yet.”
MLB The Show 21 is set to officially launch on April 20th for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox Game Pass.
