Nintendo finally dropped some gameplay for the highly anticipated Luigi’s Mansion 3 earlier this year, and it looks to be a worthy successor to the previous entry. Plus, there is going to be a ton of Guigi action going on, and that is always fun. That said, a release date hasn’t been disclosed as of yet, but if a recent leak is to be believed, we don’t have that long of a wait.

Amazon Mexico recently sent out an email (via ResetEra) to customers who purchased Luigi’s Mansion 3 from their website. In said email, it was noted that the game would ship on October 4th, which is leading many to believe that is the day that we could be seeing the game released. After all, it is a Friday in the spookiest month of the year, and it would be a fitting launch date.

It should go without saying, but considering the nature of the situation, this leak should be taken with a grain of salt. Either way, Nintendo will likely be providing fans with a release date in the near future if it is to arrive before the end of the year. In case you don’t know what Luigi’s Mansion 3 is all about:

“Luigi embarks on a dream vacation with Mario and friends upon receiving an invitation to a luxurious hotel. However, his dream quickly becomes a nightmare when King Boo reveals everything had been a ploy to capture Mario and friends. With the assistance of Professor E. Gadd once again, the reluctant and cowardly hero Luigi traverses up and down treacherous floors of the now-ominous hotel on a quest to save them.”
