A lot of great news has been coming out of the D23 Expo this year, including the trailer for A Wrinkle in Time, but this new behind-the-scenes video from The Last Jedi takes the cake. There is no doubt that this film will be absolutely amazing after watching this gorgeous video featuring returning favorites that also include the late Carrie Fisher who is so very missed in the hearts of Star Wars fans across the globe, check it out below:
People have been waiting for this next installment of the Star Wars franchise, not only because it will most definitely be a great movie, but because we all want to know what the hell Luke Skywalker has been up to! There has not been enough content released from The Last Jedi to keep fans satisfied and the long gaps between the info that is released ends up giving the viewers withdrawals. In other words, WE NEED MORE STUFF DISNEY! Especially since the film is already in post-production right now!
Rian Johnson, who is directing the film, went on the D23 stage alongside some of the movie’s main actors including Daisy Ridley, Gwendoline Christie, John Boyega, Laura Dern, Kelly Marie Tran, and Benicio del Toro, to talk about The Last Jedi. According to Boyega, Finn and his former superior Captain Phasma (played by Christie) will have a confrontation at some point, probably over the fact that he shoved her down a garbage chute, but who knows. Laura Dern plays a new character named Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo and Johnson made a point to show off a picture of Dern holding a blaster and gave her a hard time for saying “Pew” out loud whenever she shot it.
Eventually Mark Hamill came out and according to him, “[The Last Jedi] is a real game changer”, and that it creates new experiences in the Star Wars universe in a big way. The Last Jedi is set for release on December 15th of this year.
