Just Cause Developer Has A New Open-World Project In The Works

Just Cause Developer

Avalanche Studios, the Just Cause developer and recent creator of the Mad Max RPG, has something new cooking at their headquarters. The company has done well with their open-world concepts like Mad Max, bringing the chaotic post-apocalyptic world to life in a playable format. Now it seems they’re at it again, and while the company hasn’t officially announced anything about a new title, it would appear that some information has arisen ahead of schedule.

The news that the Just Cause developer is creating a new game comes directly from their website. An invitation calling for people ages 18-25 for use as face models for an upcoming title has fans of the company intrigued. The listing goes on to further explain, in amazing lack of detail, just what they’re calling for:

At Avalanche Studios, we’re hard at work developing our next, as of yet unannounced, self-published title. We can’t say much about the game itself (or we’d have to kill you), but it will be created in true Avalanche Studios fashion and offer players tons of our trademark emergent, open-world action. In the game you will play as a young adult, whom we will bring to life using cutting-edge face scanning technology.”

Though vague, it would seem the Just Cause developer is planning a new IP to dazzle fans with. Although, an unnamed title could just as easily mean they’re working on furthering an already established franchise and don’t want to give it away. While it’s possible we may get more at E3 in June, this early in the game it is hard to say.

For fans looking to be the next face in a game by the Just Cause developer, be sure to note that the listing states that they will not provide or cover travel. More than likely they will pool talent from around their Avalanche Studios home base in Stockholm, Sweden. Be sure to keep up with Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops!
