Horizon Zero Dawn Sequel Seemingly Confirmed By Voice Actress

Horizon Zero Dawn Sequel

Many fans have been wondering about the possibility of a Horizon Zero Dawn sequel ever since the first title arrived two years ago. This was due to the incredible story, graphics, and overall gameplay featured in the first entry. While the developers have remained quiet in regards to a follow-up, it looks like one voice actress may have let the giant mech cat out of the bag.

Star Wars Celebration has officially kicked off in Chicago, which means fans from all over the world have gathered to learn the latest news to come out of the massive franchise, including the likes of Star Wars Battlefront II. Janina Gavankar, who is known for playing Iden Versio in Battlefront II, was in attendance and while speaking with a fan, they may have let slip the fact that a Horizon Zero Dawn sequel is in development.

“It’s incredible,” Gavankar said when the fan mentioned that she was the reason they got into the first Horizon Zero Dawn. “Just wait until you see the sequel,” she continued. “You’re gonna die. I know some secrets. You’re gonna die.” The Twitch clip has since been deleted, but through the powers of the internet, it remains right here.

Needless to say, the voice actress may have just let a secret out that she probably wasn’t supposed to. Then again, with how much of an absolute hit the first game was, did any of us ever think there wouldn’t be a Horizon Zero Dawn sequel coming? Now it’s just a matter of time before we know when it’s coming. Of course, none of this is official confirmation, so keep that salt handy.

What say you, gamers? Do you believe Gavankar thought the Horizon Zero Dawn sequel was common knowledge, or was this definitely a big mistake on their part? Now that the follow-up has seemingly been confirmed, do you think Guerrilla Games is going to officially announce anything in the near future?
