Finally! Kojima worked as director on the entirety of the Metal Gear series and has had his hands on many other titles such as Boktai, and the cancelled P.T (Silent Hills), which was announced in March of 2015, following the conflict and controversy with Konami. That conflict ultimately led to Kojima’s separation from the company, and that tied into the reason he was prohibited from attending last year’s Game Awards. Kojima has been thriving since. During E3, it was revealed that Sony had partnered with Kojima while revealing his new project by the title of Death Stranding (Remember? Naked Norman Reedus?).
Congratulations, Mister Kojima. This indeed has been a long time coming!
