This Gears 5 Map Is “50 Times Bigger” Than Previous Gears Levels
The highly anticipated next installment in the long running Gears of War franchise is just days away from release, which means more and more information is beginning to be unveiled. Speaking of which, during the recent PAX West event in Seattle, The Coalition’s Rod Fergusson was in attendance to discuss Gears 5 and how one of the maps is “50 times bigger” than previous Gears levels.
During a panel with Xbox Live director of programming Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb, Fergusson revealed that the Act 3 level, which can be seen below, is “50 times bigger than a normal gears level.” We already know that Gears 5 is going to be the biggest installment yet, but a level that is 50 times bigger is rather impressive.
In case you are unaware of what to expect in the upcoming title, here’s more:
“From one of gaming’s most acclaimed sagas, Gears is bigger than ever, with five thrilling modes and the deepest campaign yet. With all-out war descending, Kait Diaz breaks away to uncover her connection to the enemy and discovers the true danger to Sera – herself.”
