Watch Extended Gameplay of the Upcoming Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind Expansion Here (VIDEO)
When the team behind the MMORPG Elder Scrolls Online made the announcement that their next expansion was the decision to bring Morrowind back for players, veteran gamers of the Elder Scrolls franchise collectively lost their shit. From introducing the new Warden class, to seeing all of the new (and familiar) locations being added, the excitement for the upcoming Elder Scrolls expansion was palpable.
A new 30 minute gameplay trailer has been uploaded onto YouTube courtesy of Polygon to show some of the nostalgic locations to be roamed within Morrowind. With the video above, the focus of this narrative lies with a specific quest given within the Morrowind expansion as the player is beckoned by one of the three immortal god-kings, Lord Viven the Warrior-Poet. Check out the video for yourself to see what lies in wait come June.
The narrative shown in the gameplay demo is distinctly familiar within the lore of Elder Scrolls, and with the new storyline surrounding the god-king and his siblings is one of adventures that players and their avatars can embark on when Morrowind becomes fully available June 6th.
