Fallout: New California Finally Gets Release Date (VIDEO)
In our never-ending pursuit to bring you the biggest news for cool mods in Fallout games, we finally have word on when we’ll get to play one of the projects we’ve been dying to get our hands on. Fallout: New California is a mod for Fallout: New Vegas that will provide players with an all-new protagonist, story, and map to make their wasteland playground. Authors Radian-Helix Media are promising loads of new stuff with these new additions including professionally voiced dialogue and sequences that wouldn’t be possible in the base game. They’ve also announced new soundtrack, weapons, and armor that will take full advantage of the new factions and setting in this content.
With the release of this new trailer, Radian-Helix has finally confirmed when we’ll get to step into their brave new world:
As you can tell there are a ton of new characters, new locales like Union City, and even new activities like a boxing arena to compete in fights and win caps. Fallout: New California was once codenamed Project Brazil and there was a bit of a scare that the team would have to revert back to that name since Bethesda is publishing a tabletop game that bears the name of the modder project.
With as much content as Radian-Helix are promising, this sounds like a new game entirely. It will truly be a marvel of community dedication if the finished product runs smoothly and can deliver on everything promised. We’ll find out when the Beta for Fallout: New California drops on October 23rd, 2018.
