Dragon Ball FighterZ Reveals Base Goku, Vegeta With New Trailers (VIDEO)

Dragon Ball FighterZ

Following the duo’s preview in a few awesome screenshots, base form Goku and a Saiyan-armored Vegeta were officially confirmed to be the next DLC characters for Dragon Ball FighterZ. Taking on their appearances from early episodes of Dragon Ball Z, the two rivals have been shown off by Bandai Namco in two new epic trailers.

First up is the elite prince of the Saiyan race, Vegeta, and he’s sporting his armor and home-grown tail from his villainous time in the Frieza Force. He’s also got the cold-blooded attitude to match, throwing out ruthless combos as well as his signature Galick Gun attack. For the finale, we see the bad ol’ Vegeta dust off one of his most Nappa-murdering of moves, the Galaxy Breaker. Check it out below:

Playfully flying in via his trusty Nimbus Cloud, the classic version of Goku comes packing his old array of moves as well, throwing down his Kamehameha wave and the power-multiplying Kaio-Ken technique. In an always-welcome demonstration of overkill, Goku also collects energy from the universe itself to unleash the ultimate enemy-ender known as the Spirit Bomb. Check it out below”

With base Goku and Vegeta properly teased, a release date is all that remains before they’ll be throwing down with the rest of the amazing FighterZ roster. In the meantime, Nintendo Switch owners have a featureful Open Beta to look forward to, and more cinematic fans have the might of the new Dragon Ball Super: Broly trailer to keep their attention. Dragon Ball FighterZ is currently available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
