DOOM 64 Confirmed for Nintendo Switch
A PEGI rating appeared earlier this year for DOOM 64 on PC and PlayStation 4, and since it popped up during QuakeCon, many were expecting the game to be revealed for the current generation. While this did not happen, fans were treated to the first three DOOM titles across all platforms, but no word on the Nintendo 64 title was unveiled. That said, a recent Nintendo Direct has informed us that DOOM 64 is officially coming to Nintendo Switch.
During the Direct presentation, Bethesda’s Pete Hines appeared in a separate video with a special announcement for fans. Of course, said announcement was in regards to 1997’s DOOM 64 coming to Nintendo Switch. What makes things even better, the game will be arriving on the popular portable console this year in time for the holidays.
