Death Stranding: Arctic Director Says He Has “Never Seen Anything Like This”

Death Stranding Joe Penna

Many of you may have noticed that Hideo Kojima has been going on a bit of a tour (of sorts) as of late. The mysterious director has been taking his even more mysterious game Death Stranding to other studios and friends within the industry to show off what he and the team have created so far, and everyone seems to be blown away by what they are seeing.

No exception to this is Joe Penna, director of Arctic, a recently released film that stars Mads Mikkelsen. After Kojima tweeted about the aforementioned movie, Penna kindly asked if that meant he could play Death Stranding. The game director replied, saying that the release would take a while, but it looks like Penna was indeed given the opportunity to play the title, and he has “never seen anything like” it.

In a follow-up tweet, Penna added that Hideo Kojima is “the very top.” Naturally, fans were not exactly pleased with the teasing coming from Penna, but it has made everyone even more excited for the upcoming game. After all, Death Stranding is shrouded in mystery and intrigue, with not much about it being known at all. We’ll just have to wait until Kojima and team are willing to unveil some of the glorious details that we all crave.

Death Stranding has no release date, but is currently in development for PlayStation 4. Keep it tuned to Don’t Feed the Gamers as this story develops, and for other gaming goodness going on right now, check out the following:
